Last week some members of the Robertson County Community Band braved the cold to make it to practice:
We did a lot of sight reading – among the songs played were The Beatles’ “Yesterday”, a Sousa composition, and a Tennessee folk song composed by our own Wade Smith.
Will you be at our next practice? We meet again next Tuesday, February 1st at 6:30pm at Springfield High School in the band room (or our other practice location, the Little Theatre, also at SHS).
Hope to see you there!

The band members have a decidedly different view of a show than the audience – we get to see the crowd and their reactions. But the percussionists have the unique view of seeing the band and the audience – a little more band than audience, to be sure.
